Members of our class can update their profile to share information with the rest of the class. The Class Directory allows classmates to locate other classmates that have created a profile. Information on the Class Directory is only available to classmates that log on to the site.
30th Reunion Information
Our 30th Reunion is approaching and Homecoming Weekend is set for November 1-3, 2013. The Reunion Committee had a meeting on 9 April and below is a summary of the latest information for the reunion. The Committee is still working to come up with the final costs. Once the costs are finalized, we will get the information out to everyone via email and the class website. The class website will also be used to select and pay for events. It will include "A La Carte" choices for Fri/Sat events, football tickets, and other items that will be available to purchase.
The Reunion Committee has secured a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express and
Suites on Hwy 17 in Mt. Pleasant. It is a new hotel (built since our last reunion).
The rates are $99 for Thursday and $129 for Friday and Saturday night.

- Registration is from 1300-1800 at the Holiday Inn Express in Mt. Pleasant.
- Dinner on Friday evening is at Gold Bug Island. The menu is oysters, BBQ and fixings, with an open bar and a DJ. Please note that this is a "no kids" event.
- Continuation of registration in Alumni Center upstairs conference room
- Football tickets will be on the home side (vs. Wofford)
- The refreshments in the Class tailgate tent will be Fried Chicken, Low Country Boil and open bar
- The Reunion Committee is working to arrange for a Class Photo to be taken prior to march-in at the game.
I am upgrading our site with a (long overdue) fresh look and new features, so you will notice changes in the site over the coming weeks.
Items scheduled to be released the week of May 6, 2013 include:
- A New Look for the Site
- Updated Profile Screen - The Profile screen has been totally redesigned to make it much easier to update your information and more information has been added to the profile. When the profile was added in 2008, the Access Control was provided as a possible "for future use" item in case we decided to allow others (outside of the class) to access our information. We have not allowed - and do not plan to allow - others to access our information. The information will remain accessible ONLY by other classmates who have created an account and logged onto the site, so the Access Control is no longer needed and will be removed from the Profile screen.
Additional upgrades to the site include:
- News and Events: Moderators and classmates will be able to add items online
- Meetings: A new event feature allowing classmates to set up and share meeting information for any Citadel-related gatherings
- Bulletin Board: A new feature that will allow classmates to post notes on the bulletin board of other classmates
- Photo Gallery: Users will be able to upload and share photos within the site
- Profile Photo: Users can select an uploaded photo to be used as a profile photo; profile photos will appear in directory searches and bulletin board posts
- Directory Search: Improved search with more select and sort options
- Citadel83.com email addresses: Users will be able to have an email address in the format of username@citadel83.com. The citadel83.com email address can be an actual online mailbox or the address can forward email to an existing email address.
